Each year, Starstruck produces two major productions:
Children audition for each show, giving everyone the chance to try different roles and be part of something new every few months.
Rehearsals are held weekly at Little Downham Village Hall, with extra sessions nearer show week to polish lines, songs, and choreography. Regular attendance is key, as each rehearsal builds on the last and helps the cast work together. Every production ends with live performances at the Village Hall, giving children the chance to shine on stage and enjoy the excitement of a real show.
There is a small fee per child for each production. This helps cover hall hire, scripts, and costumes. Fundraising and sponsorship also keep costs as low as possible.
We welcome interest from directors and choreographers who’d like to get involved. If you have the skills and enthusiasm to lead a production, we’d love to hear from you.
From drama games to stagecraft, workshops are a great way to share your skills with our young performers. If you can offer a session, please get in touch.
Auditions are held for each production. Our current pantomime, Cinderella (January 2026), has now been cast, but we’d love to hear from you if you’d like to join in the future.
